Prefer to manage your own website? No mandatory AJ Web Studio maintenance plan. Hosting, updates and advanced platform support can be quoted separately.

Build-only / client-managed

One development fee for your agreed scope, paid at agreed milestones. After handover, you manage your domain, hosting and updates. There is no mandatory monthly studio care fee. Third-party hosting and domain charges may still apply. Future changes receive a separate quote.

Managed website care

A separate monthly quote for selected services such as hosting, monitoring, backups, routine dependency and security updates, uptime checks, limited content edits, support, SSL and renewal oversight, and health checks. The agreement defines provider, edit allowance, exclusions and response targets. No unlimited edits or perfect-uptime promise.

Managed custom platform

A custom periodic quote for contracted backend or database hosting and administration, dashboards, authentication, APIs, backups and restoration, monitoring, updates, incidents, vendor coordination and data-protection operations as needed. Scope depends on actual architecture, responsibilities and expected usage. Infrastructure charges are distinct from maintenance labor.

What do we agree before care begins?

Each recurring plan is optional and separately accepted with a start date, billing interval, fees, payment method, scope, allowances, exclusions, response targets, renewal, cancellation notice, fee-change policy and exit handover. A development quote does not automatically become a subscription.

Record backup format, frequency, retention, restore testing, monitoring, access and data responsibilities. This site does not operate automatic billing or a connected payment gateway.

Third-party costs, disclosed

Domain registration is usually renewed annually. Hosting, tools and usage services have their own billing cycles. Your quote states what is included, paid directly or passed through with written disclosure. Advanced accounts, payment, booking and database components can receive a one-off build quote. Recurring fees apply only to separately agreed ongoing operations.

Ownership and a practical exit

Your domain can stay in your name. We can help configure and manage it when agreed.

Where practical, keep your registrar account under your control and grant limited delegated access. The agreement identifies hosting ownership, deliverable rights after full payment, license limits, continued access, data exports, backup format, migration help, disclosed offboarding fees, notice and reasonable handover time. Third-party products transfer only where their licenses permit.

Post-launch bug fixes

A 14-day complimentary bug-fix period from production launch covers implementation defects against the agreed specification. Ongoing updates and new features are available separately.

This period is separate from a care plan. It excludes new content, expansion and redesign. Report reproducible defects through a listed contact or the quote route. Provider outages and client edits follow agreed responsibilities, while genuine implementation defects remain eligible.
